Well managed turnout, excellent footing, hacking and conditioning on over 100 acres of land.. we make it easy for you to enjoy your riding and reach your goals. We have excellent coaching and training available, and we bring in other professionals for on-site clinics.
At Vale, you will find a warm and welcoming environment right in the heart of Headwaters Horse Country. You can relax, knowing that your horse is receiving exactly what they need, even when you’re not there. This could include setting up appointments with our amazing team of professionals, handling post-show care when you’re stuck in meetings the next day, or looking after your horse’s training for the week while you’re out of town. JENNIFER MCCARTNEY

Jennifer is a kind and gifted coach who has trained under world-renowned dressage master, Walter Zettl, for over 30 years. Sharing her mentor’s approach to horsemanship, she has produced FEI riders, built a career on training horses from green to Grand Prix, and has earned her reputation as a coach of coaches.
Jennifer’s first love is Classical Dressage, and it’s the basis of all her training. Biomechanics, balance, and position are at the core of her approach; for high level dressage, better quality flat work in your jumper’s off season, or developing a more harmonious relationship with your horse, No matter what the end goal is, calmness, correctness, clarity, and strength form the foundation.
Known for her ability to not only recognize but also develop athletic potential, Jennifer is frequently sought out for her skill with riders. She has a way of making complex ideas relatable, building confidence, and improving communication between horse and human, consistently offering a high quality of instruction for riders who truly want to succeed.
